Reporting to the Manager, Email & SMS Marketing, the Specialist, Email & SMS Marketing will help build, execute, and optimize our email and SMS marketing campaigns, driving customer engagement, conversion, and retention through impactful and personalized email and SMS marketing.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Manage briefing of Broadcast emails and Automated Customer Journey emails based on the respective email calendars

Work cross-functionally to gather all relevant information to ensure email briefs are comprehensive, detailed and result in desired outcome

Build and test new Customer Journeys to engage and convert customers in a highly personalized and targeted manner

Monitor and optimize Customer Journeys on a continual basis to retool, enhance, and establish best practices

Support the Manager, Email & SMS Marketing in the creation and management of the Email and SMS Marketing Calendars, working cross-functional to plan, strategically aligning with the overall Integrated Business Plan, and ensuring segmentation opportunities are identified

Assist with the building and deployment of Broadcast emails, as needed

Contribute to the development of the strategy and launch of our SMS program, including acquisition and win-back initiatives, and determination of KPIs

Leverage the Customer Database Platform for segmentation of our email and SMS marketing, building the segmentation strategy and orchestrating the calendar to leverage

Report on email and SMS campaigns and results, transforming data into actionable insights, and presenting these insights to various stakeholders

Orchestrate, deploy and optimize SMS marketing messages, both as part of Customer Journeys and as standalone campaigns

Support the A/B testing strategy for email and SMS marketing campaigns, contributing to an overall action plan, implementation and application of learnings

Perform day-to-day email and SMS marketing activities including briefing, approvals, campaign set-up, testing, tagging, and deployment

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, email marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement new strategies and tools

The ideal candidate:

University Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline

3+ years of experience in an email marketing role with demonstrated success driving results, preferably in the retail sector

Detailed oriented, with strong project management skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of best practices for email and SMS deployment, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, and deliverability

Experience with an Email Marketing or SMS Platform

Hands-on working experience with HTML (troubleshooting, testing) an asset

Data-driven problem-solving skills, with experience working with web analytics platforms

Excellent track record of driving business performance

Affinity for luxury retail

Dynamic self-starter

Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures.
