MARKETING OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Marketing Operations Specialist at Equiton, you will play a key role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing efforts. You'll manage and optimize our marketing technology stack, support campaign execution, and ensure data accuracy to enable seamless lead management and attribution. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, this position will collaborate closely with marketing and sales to ensure alignment across systems, data, and campaigns.
This position requires on-site presence 5 days a week.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the integration and smooth functioning of the lead management system, CRM, and automation tools.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new tools to streamline marketing processes and enhance campaign efficiency.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to execute campaigns, ensuring proper setup and automation.
- Set up, test, and optimize workflows and marketing automation, including lead scoring and nurturing programs.
- Create and manage dashboards to monitor and report on campaign performance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness, including removing duplicates and outdated records.
- Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights to improve marketing efforts and performance.
- Oversee and refine lead scoring models to ensure high-quality leads are efficiently routed to the sales team.
- Track and attribute leads across multiple channels, providing insights into ROI and marketing impact.
- Produce and present weekly/monthly reports on key marketing KPIs (lead generation, campaign performance, conversion rates).
- Identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing future campaigns.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- The Marketing Operations Specialist is accountable for maintaining an optimized marketing operations framework. Poor decision-making could result in inefficiencies, missed opportunities, or non-compliance, negatively impacting campaign performance and lead quality.
LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISION/COORDINATION OF OTHERS:
- This role will coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and operational excellence.
COMMUNICATION:
- This role requires frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, and external partners).
- Communication is primarily written (email, documentation) and verbal (meetings).
- The Marketing Operations Specialist may need to present ideas and performance metrics to senior management and make recommendations for improvements.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, campaign tracking and campaign execution.
- Proficient in data management and analytics, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with regulations like GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy best practices.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, technology, or data management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing marketing technology stacks, including CRM systems.
JUDGEMENT/PROBLEM SOLVING/DECISION MAKING:
- This role requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues in the marketing workflow and propose solutions.
- The ability to make informed decisions based on data is essential for optimizing campaign performance and ensuring compliance.
