JOB TITLE

Senior Graphic Designer - In Office Position

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead our design initiatives, elevating our brand identity across various business divisions including our communities and hospitality. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will play a key role in refining our visual communications, driving creative direction for marketing campaigns, and ensuring consistency in our brand's presentation across all platforms.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to.
Brand Development: Evolve and implement brand guidelines across multiple business units, ensuring visual consistency in all marketing materials.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects, balancing timelines and budgets while delivering high-quality results.
Creative Direction: Develop and execute creative strategies for marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social media.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, communications, and digital teams to produce visually compelling and effective design solutions.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external vendors, such as printers and agencies, to ensure quality output and alignment with brand standards.
Innovation: Stay updated on design trends and incorporate fresh ideas into projects to maintain a cutting-edge approach.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all creative outputs meet brand standards and maintain consistency across all platforms and formats.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional graphic design experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience with updating and maintaining websites using platforms such as Wix or WordPress is an asset but not required.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including branding, digital, and print.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for design, strong leadership and mentorship abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work at head office location in Barrie and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Successful background and reference check.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
