We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team in Langley, BC.
This temporary position is expected to last 18 months.
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment & Retention, you will play an integral part in our centralized Recruitment and Retention team by providing full cycle recruitment support across a variety of roles and business areas within the organization.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing recruitment plans with customized hiring strategies to attract the best talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact to hire.
- Leading intake meetings with hiring managers to thoroughly understand role requirements and building job descriptions and guides to support all stages of the recruitment process.
- Shortlisting, conducting phone screens, booking and participating in interviews, and all recruitment related tasks.
- Developing offers and leading the negotiation process with candidates.
- Coaching and supporting hiring managers with recruitment activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal best practices.
- Sourcing candidates through external channels including professional networks and job boards.
- Collaborating with internal HR teams to ensure internal processes and best practices are followed.
- Assessing the effectiveness of internal recruitment strategies and processes to identify gaps and opportunities and proposing solutions.
- Assisting in coaching other team members within the Recruitment team.
You have:
- 3+ years of experience in a full cycle recruitment position, preferably in a corporate capacity or within a retail organization.
- Experience with recruiting for mid to senior level roles.
- Knowledge of human resources, recruitment practices, and hiring regulations.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related discipline is an asset.
- CPHR designation is an asset.
- Experience using an HRIS and ATS, preferably Workday.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation Details:
$65,120.00 - $81,400.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
