We are looking for a JavaScript Developer (Node.js) to join us for a short 3-4 month contract, who is a self-starter and can work independently. This role will be solely focused on API automation development, and you will be actively coding in JavaScript. Any Terraform exposure would be a great asset. Knowledge of AWS is also a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Taking API documentation and creating API tests in Playwright using JavaScript
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring proper API and performance test coverage
• Creating automated test scripts and leveraging appropriate tools and frameworks (i.e. Playwright)
• Writing clean code and participating in code reviews

Qualifications :

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Software Testing/Quality Assurance or Development role
• Highly proficient with JavaScript (Node.js)
• Experience with Automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright
• Experience with Git and Git-adjacent technologies such as GitLab and CI/CD pipeline exposure
• Exposure to Cloud Technologies like AWS
• Experience with API, Web Services and other non-UI level testing
• Knowledge of K6 performance tool is a great asset
• Experience with Terraform is an asset

Contract length : 4 months

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
