Salary: $55,224 - $69,030 per annum

Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager of External Communication, the Communications Coordinator is a dynamic and organized individual passionate about healthcare and innovation. You will play a crucial role in executing UHN's omni-channel communications and marketing strategy, focusing on social media, media relations and event planning. The role is hybrid with at least two days a week onsite at Toronto General and/or Toronto Rehab - University Centre. You will also go to other UHN sites as needed for assignments.

Overview of Daily Responsibilities
- Media Monitoring: Prepare media monitoring reports and track media coverage.
- Social Media Management: Post, listen, and engage on multiple social channels.
- Content Creation: Collaborate on content creation, including social media posts, media releases, and short-form articles. Shoot and edit short-form videos as needed.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing, executing, and attending UHN special events.
- Media Relations: Assist with media queries, coordinate interviews, and support media relations activities.
- Project Management: Ensure project deliverables are properly stored and managed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders across UHN in a respectful and productive manner in support of department initiatives and deliverables.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage a variety of tasks such as supporting the creation of social media reports, creating and maintaining databases, placing service orders, proofreading, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- A degree or diploma in a related field (Communications, Marketing, Public Relations)?
- 2-3 years administrative support in an agency or other creative environment
- 2-3 years experience with enterprise social media?
- 2-3 years experience in media relations
