Alea Jacta Inc. represents several of the largest distributors of games and toys to Canadian retailers. The role of the English-speaking sales representative is to develop the Canadian English-speaking market outside Quebec. The position is expected to evolve according to sales growth and the candidate's initiative.

Here are the tasks expected upon taking up the position:

This is an English-speaking position, 5 days a week

85% Development of new customers and support for established customers

● Make outbound calls to active customers to present new products and ensure restocking

● Develop personalized sales tools (new products catalog, personalized basket, thematic assortment, presentation document). Track new products and extract lists and resources to communicate them to customers

● Update customer product lists (customer-specific spreadsheets)

● Write group messages to announce new products as soon as they arrive for pre-order

● Track backorders

● Maintain mailing lists and customer information

● Receive incoming calls and make telephone follow-ups in support of sales management

10% Contribute to sales strategies

● Contribute to the design of assortments and identification of related products

● Collaborate on implementation strategies with new retailers

● Monitor gaming and toy industry news

● Research and classify information from studios and suppliers

● Test and discover games and toys in samples

● Participate in various promotional events (trade fairs, conventions, launches, etc.).

● Occasional: Lead in-store training

Other 5%

● Perform administrative tasks (document review, expense account, etc.)

● Produce content for social media

● Any other related task in support of the sales team

Experience to have

● Experience with mass market purchasing processes and Amazon (determining asset)

● Experience in the sale or supply of games and toys in stores (an asset)

● Possess a college diploma (DEC).

● Have 3 years of relevant experience in a position in the field of distribution or sales

● Master the MS Office suite

● Bilingualism a major asset - 100% of the clientele is English-speaking, but the majority of suppliers are French-speaking

● Mastery of social media

● Knowledge of Teams tools

● Experience with POS or distribution software an asset

● Ability to travel occasionally (valid driver's license and passport)
