We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and dynamic Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about the tourism industry and creating unforgettable guest experiences!
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of marketing strategies. This role is also responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple social media platforms, communications, and supporting several other administrative duties for the VP of Business Development.
The Wilson's Group of Companies is a locally owned and operated ground transportation and tour company serving Victoria, Vancouver Island, and Vancouver. In operation since 1962, we are a trusted provider known for our exceptional service in transporting groups large and small.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 2 years of sales, marketing, coordinator, customer service, or business development experience.
- Experience working with multiple social media platforms.
- Experience using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Class 5 driver's license.
- Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as needed to support community and promotional events.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed, expected travel 5-10%.
- Experience working in the travel or tourism industry is strongly preferred.
