As the largest single, non-government funder of child health in Canada, CCHF continues to receive generous support through donors within Children's Miracle Network® as well as contributions from additional companies and partners.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Coordinator, Marketing is an important member of the CCHF team in delivering on the organizational strategy by providing administrative and coordination support to the Marketing & Communications team, helping to execute Partner campaigns, impact assets, and provide administrative support for the Patient Ambassador program, benefitting fundraising and cause awareness. Every member of the CCHF team contributes to our success in raising funds whilst collaborating with other members of the CCHF team, Member Foundations and Corporate Partners.
This role will entail a combination of office and work from home environments, with employees transitioning to working 2-3 days per week at our Toronto office. Occasional travel to fundraising activities and events, meetings, conferences, and training opportunities within Canada and USA will be required. Evening & weekend work may be required.
As a CCHF Employee, you will:

- Work collaboratively with CCHF staff, Member Foundations, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH), partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gain buy-in in an environment of competing priorities

- Act as a skilled problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and quickly respond to the needs of partners and/or stakeholders in well-thought out and workable solutions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partner Fundraising Campaign & Event Support
- Assist team with updating project management trackers and timelines, to be shared both internally and with Member Foundations; flag follow ups and upcoming deliverables.
- Assist with monthly marketing updates to Member Foundations by gathering, sharing, and formatting of materials as provided by Marketing and Corporate Partnerships team.
- Assist team with tracking approvals on campaign materials
- Provide coordination support for the execution of various Partner and CCHF events, including event materials, videos, and handouts.
- Proofread materials, as assigned.
2. Digital Marketing & Communications Coordination
- Coordinate website updates with Manager, Cause Marketing and digital agency to remain current.
- Launch network emails, as needed, via a CRM platform.
- Weekly monitoring of Contact Form and CCHF Inbox, ensuring inquiries are forwarded to the proper department in a timely manner.
3. Marketing Project Coordination & Administrative Support
- Process Marketing & Communications invoices and assist department leader with budget tracking.
- Maintain internal trackers, libraries, Google Drive and SharePoint hubs to ensure all are up to date and accurate.
- Track inventory of event and promotional materials and re-order as needed.
- Provide support for the Patient Ambassador program, as required; which could include content collection and organization, coordination with Member Foundations, and preparing materials.
- Manage or support various ad hoc department projects, as assigned.
- Provide other administrative support to the Marketing & Communications team, as required.
4.Other projects and duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary diploma in Marketing, Communications or Business
- 1-3 years of related experience in marketing and/or communications
- Experience coordinating the delivery of marketing and/or communications projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Relationship building, customer service skills, exhibiting professionalism, diplomacy, tact and composure
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written; ability to adapt communication to respond to a wide variety of stakeholders and audiences
- Attention to detail
- Organization, project management and time management skills to prioritize effectively and meet deliverables
- Ability to independently address varied situations that arise, seeking direction, as required
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information, exercising good judgement in diverse situations
