Our in-house design departments include Architecture, Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design. In addition, we have a Digital Practice Department, who commits to the implementation of BIM, research development, and the infusion of cutting-edge technology into our projects and practice.

Who We Are Looking For

As an Intermediate Designer on our Experiential Graphic Design team, you will play a vital role in creating spaces that communicate through visual storytelling, wayfinding, and environmental graphics. The ideal candidate will bring experience in the development of EGD design concepts and placemaking strategies, with good understanding of materials and fabrication methods. This role is perfect for someone ready to expand their skills in designing immersive experiences that balance aesthetic appeal with spatial functionality. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, enhancing both your technical and creative expertise while pushing the boundaries of design and elevating user experiences through graphic elements in the built environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and refine graphic design concepts for interior and exterior wayfinding applications and environmental graphic solutions that support placemaking strategies, ensuring a seamless blend of aesthetics and functionality.
  • Develop design workshop materials and presentations that communicate design intent and concepts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Develop location plans, message schedules, artwork and design intent specifications.
  • Learn and leverage advanced design software, including 3D modeling tools like Revit, to prepare and manage documentation, integrating graphics with architectural plans.
  • Participate in site visits and meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors, gaining hands-on experience in delivering experiential design projects from concept to implementation.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree/diploma from an accredited institution in Graphic Design, Experiential Design, Exhibit Design or similar degree program.
  • 3-6 years of experience in experiential graphic design, wayfinding and signage projects.
  • Advance knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite program.
  • Literacy in 3D modelling programs.
  • Good working knowledge of applicable accessibility standards, building codes and municipal by-laws.
  • RGD, or SEGD credentials are considered a bonus.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with 2 days in the Studio.
