ABOUT NANOPAY
Founded in 2013, nanopay is a global payments technology company based in Toronto, offering payments for businesses, banks, and consumers. We are transforming domestic and cross-border payments, and provide white-label payment solutions for banks and businesses. Our technology differentiates us-built on hybrid blockchain technology, our platform improves throughput, simplifies governance, and reduces cost. Our scalable and unique solution earned nanopay the coveted title of Blockchain Company of the Year in 2019. nanopay launched Foree Remittance in 2024 providing the fastest and least expensive way to send money from Canada to Pakistan.
THE POSITION
We are looking for someone up to this challenge who will wake up in the morning thinking about how to drive new users and transaction growth for the platform. You have a mix of experience in both traditional product marketing and creative guerilla marketing activations for target communities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining a thorough understanding of the Foree product and differentiators to support the strategies aimed at increasing effective communications and brand awareness;
- Develop and document a strong understanding of Foree customers including who they are, what are their needs, and their pain points;
- Planning, developing, and implementing new marketing content that highlights product USPs, features in the form of social posts, event collateral, news articles, and blog posts that support nanopay marketing strategies to drive sales;
- Work with our agencies to create and deploy social media content and advertising, as well as manage in-person events to drive awareness, new users, and transactions.
- Managing the Foree website and social media channels to drive awareness of Foree products and services, as well as raising the profile of nanopay leadership through speaking opportunities and interviews;
- Managing outbound and inbound marketing activities, managing events and conferences, producing content and creative for marketing projects, and initiatives to create lead generation;
- Creating, and maintaining weekly & monthly marketing reports showing achievement of critical metrics including how demand is generated; Helping in the spending decisions to drive growth.
- Leveraging data sources for reporting/analytics to provide meaningful insights on what is working, what can be improved, and how; and
- Providing feedback to Product Management on their roadmap given local marketing audience insight and opportunities.
WHO ARE YOU?
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing or similar is preferred;
- At least three to five years experience in marketing or communications including a mix of traditional and creative;
- Driven and looking to demonstrate your skills and take a leadership role in a growing company;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Urdu would be an advantage);
- Experience with payments is a plus but not required;
- Experience with the Pakistani Diaspora is also a plus but not required;
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions; and
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
