The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role within the organization, overseeing the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives. This role focuses on expanding the company's reach, driving customer engagement, and supporting the growth of Sipologists. Responsibilities include implementing marketing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and managing the marketing team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Not only will the successful candidate love being immersed in data and process development, but they will also have a high competency in managing both financial and retention program performance analytics.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Define, implement, analyze, and optimize the strategic marketing plan to turn ideas into tangible outcomes.
- Develop and oversee initiatives such as Host and Customer Exclusives, Sponsoring and Sales Incentives, Special Events (e.g., Catalog and Conferences), Sales Campaigns (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas in July), Success Start, and the Pacesetters Trip.
- Lead the development and implementation of processes, tools, metrics, infrastructure, and technology to support and improve marketing operations.
- Align marketing strategies and project plans with key stakeholders across the organization.
Analytics & Performance Management:
- Test and evaluate marketing strategies and tactics to ensure alignment with corporate goals and maximize ROI.
- Maintain marketing performance dashboards and analyze data to make informed decisions about resource allocation and campaign effectiveness.
- Benchmark current marketing activities against historical data and industry best practices.
Collaboration & Alignment:
- Collaborate with sales and field development teams to ensure alignment and streamline campaign performance tracking.
- Partner with the CEO and other leadership to integrate marketing initiatives with overall business strategies.
- Guide strategic transformation projects, including Subscription Programs, Influencer Initiatives, and Marketing Automation.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Oversee the marketing team's daily activities, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Drive efforts to ensure Marketing resources (time, budget, and personnel) are effectively managed and allocated.
Qualifications
- A career marketer with at least 5 years of experience in marketing operations, ideally in fast-paced B2B and B2C environments.
- Proficient in social media advertising, audience analytics, and SEO with a strong understanding of A/B testing.
- Data-driven decision-maker with expertise in financial and campaign analytics.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a high EQ.
- Tech-savvy, with experience in marketing tools, including analytics platforms and Excel.
- Well-versed in both financial and campaign analytics with the confidence to make impactful recommendations.
- Passionate about process improvement and strategic thinking.
Working at Sipology
This is a full-time position, working in person at our Ancaster office. You may be required to work extended hours occasionally to meet deadlines.
