Reporting to the Senior Manger, In store Marketing, the incumbent, will be responsible for the management and delivery of in store Campaigns, Signage and Print materials ensuring that strategic objectives along with innovation through POP captures a unique customer in store experience. The Manager will act as the liaison between internal Clients and external vendors to optimize store programs and to ensure the campaigns drive high impact and differentiation though the customer in-store experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage major marketing initiatives by working directly with internal Brand Marketing teams, Loblaw Agency and external vendors on point of purchase in store materials including innovation, sourcing, and prototyping to deliver an impactful in store experience.
  • Manage the timely execution and delivery of multiple marketing campaigns & print collateral from initial briefing to store launch.
  • Recommend alternative solutions to print projects with respect to process to save on time, costs, substrates and to provide better value or to improve on quality.
  • Act as a primary point of contact to the Marketing teams, to implement instore Marketing programs including workbacks, timing, budgets, shipping, kitting, and fulfillment.
  • Work closely with the Production team to ensure print files meet print specifications and requirements.
  • Provide support as required for store audits and liaison with print vendor to ensure store profiles are maintained.
  • As required source hardware to support POP, or other marketing materials.
  • Participates in key meetings where multiple stakeholders align on objectives and priorities to drive business results.
  • Prepares presentations including communicate new innovations, in situ in store experiences, or cost options.
  • Oversees workload and manage on site vendors to ensure that work is done accurately, efficiently and maintains the integrity and overall strategy ensuring implementation complies with policies, procedures and standards as well as best working practices.
  • Actively monitor project deliverables to ensure completeness and accuracy and informs management and stakeholders of any issue that may impact delivery.
  • Work closely with internal groups: Brand Marketing, and Loblaw Agency's internal teams including Operations, Production, and Creative in order to develop, create, and execute best in class ?store-ready? programs in an effective and timely fashion.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • This Position requires someone with access to a vehicle for frequent commutes to stores, and our head office at 1 President's Choice Circle, Brampton.
  • Ability to drive innovation and differentiation though new visual ideas and techniques
  • Requires specialized interpersonal skills to resolve situations with colleagues where there may be some level of conflict, stress or uncertainty.
  • Ability to deliver marketing programs and initiatives in a timely and actionable manner.
  • Provides solutions by using imaginative approaches where constructive thinking and innovation are required.
  • Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions. Able to work with diverse personalities and styles.
  • Business acumen - demonstrated negotiating and multi-tasking skills to manage competing timelines. Highly organized to manage a cross-section of programs.
  • Strong communication skills in order to communicate clearly and concisely; both orally and written.
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to handle tight deadlines and last minute revisions

EDUCATION & JOB KNOWLEDGE

  • Post secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree or College diploma in Graphic Communications or Marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of print production and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced knowledge of Canadian retail, and in-store marketing would be an asset.

  • Visual Merchandising (5 years)
  • Managing Marketing campaign collateral (5 years)
  • Experience working with a Retailer or Printing Company (5 years)
