VMAC has an opening for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist / Media Relations. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will help develop, implement and execute marketing campaigns (print, web, social media, etc.). Working closely with the Marketing team, the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will help achieve departmental and company-wide objectives by helping develop, create, edit, produce, and implement creative materials that builds brand awareness in VMAC's targeted markets. The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will monitor market trends and competitive intelligence in the marketplace, while maintaining an understanding of customer value, and will research various topics to generate original content for education-based marketing initiatives, including webinars. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and the VP - Marketing & Sales, the successful candidate will act as the point-person for media contacts and community sponsorship contacts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Utilizes advanced SEO tools, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC, and SEM to maximize conversion of digital marketing campaigns.
- Assists in the development of creative materials with designer for distribution to media, customers and dealers.
- Conducts research on market trends and competitive intelligence.
- Creates original content for distribution to online and print media outlets.
- Stays current in marketing trends and news (eg. Google updates and algorithm changes).
- Ensures brand image and positioning are consistent with the overall strategic marketing plan.
- Point-person for print and digital media editors and advertising sales reps.
- Manages online advertising campaigns on Google, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
- Publishes content on social media and ensures all social media content meets established content standards.
- Monitors health of VMAC's brand on social media.
- Participates fully in departmental and company-wide Lean initiatives.
- Travels as required to customer locations, trade shows, events and educational/training sessions.
- Point-person for community sponsorship contacts.
- Host of VMAC webinars and video productions, as necessary.
- Develops and implements comprehensive digital marketing plans, strategies, and objectives with respect to products or brand.
- Assists in the creation of the look, layout and features of company website.
- Responsible for generating original content for use on the company website that meets established content standards.
- Work with developers to ensure online content is displaying properly.
- Other marketing and administration tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, General Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success with digital marketing in a product centric organization.
- Demonstrated computer skills with MS Office 365, Microsoft Edge/Google Chrome.
- Excellent English communications skills, written and verbal.
- Detailed analytical skills, able to interpret market data and competitive intelligence.
- Ability to research, learn and accurately generate original content.
- Instinctive and educated knowledge of potential future digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience using advanced SEO tools to develop and analyze conversion strategies for online marketing campaigns, including Google Analytics, Moz and SEMrush.
- Knowledge in key areas of digital marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM).
- Proven education and experience with Hubspot Inbound Marketing.
- Proven experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube, and TikTok.
