About the Role
Boast.ai is seeking a dynamic and creative Content & Brand Communications Manager to lead our brand strategy, elevate marketing communications, and position Boast as a trusted leader in R&D tax credits in Canada and the United States. This role is a blend of content creation, public relations, and brand engagement, requiring a strong storyteller who can craft full-funnel content, develop impactful messaging, and act as the face of the brand through podcasts, webinars, live events, and media engagements.
You will play a pivotal role in strengthening Boast’s internal and external brand presence, driving employee and customer advocacy, and enhancing our reputation through owned and earned media. With your leadership, Boast will become a brand that employees, customers, and partners trust, love, and promote.
Key responsibilities include:
Content Development & Marketing Communications
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and retention across customer segments.
- Create and manage full-funnel content, including blogs, newsletters, whitepapers, case studies, podcasts, social media posts, and video scripts.
- Write and distribute PR assets, including press releases, media kits, and thought leadership articles, to amplify Boast’s authority in R&D tax credits.
- Collaborate with Product and Technical Solution Managers to align messaging with Boast’s solutions for R&D Tax Credits programs.
- Support lead generation campaigns with engaging, audience-specific content.
Brand Representation
- Act as the face of the brand, hosting podcasts, webinars, and live interviews with customers, partners, and industry leaders.
- Represent Boast at industry events, conferences, and media opportunities, showcasing thought leadership and expertise.
- Conduct live event coverage, including social media takeovers, to engage audiences in real-time and strengthen brand visibility.
Social Media & Organic Growth
- Build and execute a robust social media strategy to grow Boast’s organic presence on LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and emerging platforms like TikTok.
- Create engaging content for organic promotion, including videos, infographics, and interactive posts.
- Stay updated on social media trends and leverage insights to maximize visibility and engagement.
Public Relations & External Communication
- Lead PR efforts, building relationships with journalists and influencers to secure high-impact media coverage.
- Monitor industry trends to identify timely opportunities for thought leadership content.
- Collaborate with partners, sponsors, and event organizers to amplify Boast’s voice across earned and shared media channels.
- Manage awards and recognition campaigns to enhance Boast’s reputation and credibility.
Internal Branding & Advocacy
- Partner with HR to strengthen Boast’s employer brand, aligning internal communications and onboarding programs with company values.
- Launch and manage initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and advocacy.
- Work with Customer Marketing to develop customer advocacy programs, including testimonials, case studies, and success stories.
- Celebrate employee and customer milestones through personalized appreciation campaigns.
Reputation Management
- Develop and execute strategies to improve reviews on platforms like Glassdoor, Trustpilot, and G2.
- Monitor online sentiment and respond professionally to reviews to enhance trust and credibility.
- Create feedback loops with HR and Customer Success teams to address concerns and improve experiences.
Measurement & Optimization
- Set and track KPIs to measure brand awareness, customer advocacy, and online reputation improvements.
- Conduct regular brand audits and sentiment analysis to identify areas for optimization.
- Use data insights to refine brand strategies and drive measurable results.

What you’ll need:
- Solid years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, public relations, or communications, preferably in SaaS or tech industries.
- Proven track record in developing and scaling brand strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy.
- Expertise in hosting or managing live events, podcasts, and interviews.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, PR tools, and content management systems.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with a flair for audience engagement.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, Salesforce Account Engagement, and Canva (or equivalents).
- Experience managing internal branding programs to strengthen company culture and employee engagement.
Role Breakdown:
- External Branding (Owned & Earned Media): 40% of the role (PR, thought leadership, social media, awards and media relations).
- Internal Branding & Advocacy: 30% of the role (employee and customer-focused initiatives).
- Reputation Management: 20% of the role (improving and maintaining online reviews and sentiment).
