Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: UMCA Rich Tree Academy, (9600 Bathurst Street)

Employment Type: Part-time with the option to become Full-Time

About Us:

UMCA Rich Tree Academy is a leading K-12 private school dedicated to providing exceptional education and fostering a nurturing environment for our 350+ students. We are looking for a highly motivated, resourceful, and independent Marketing and Social Media Manager to take ownership of our marketing efforts, enhance our brand presence, and drive enrollment growth through innovative strategies and targeted campaigns. We want someone who can take what we have and make it BOLDER!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the school's programs, events, and achievements.
  • Independently manage and grow UMCA Rich Tree Academy's social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to each platform.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize targeted paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram to drive awareness and lead generation.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and social media activities, using insights to improve future initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns for school events, open houses, and enrollment drives.
  • Proactively collaborate with school staff to gather stories, photos, and updates that highlight the unique value of UMCA Rich Tree Academy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and social media to keep the school's marketing efforts cutting-edge.

Who You Are:

  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly resourceful, capable of finding creative solutions and leveraging tools and platforms effectively to achieve marketing goals.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, and running paid ad campaigns.
  • Proven expertise in creating and managing successful paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Graphic design experience and proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Passion for education and an understanding of the private school sector is a strong plus.
  • Past experience working in the education sector is a plus.

Salary Range

  • Between $25-$32 / hour up to 20 hours per week.
  • After 3 months, the option to transition to full-time.

Work Permit

  • Must be a Canadian resident or hold a valid work permit.
  • We are unable to sponsor any international applicants.

Expected Start Date

  • No later than Feb 24, 2025.
