POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager at Hikvision Canada develops and implements marketing strategies to achieve the company's growth plan in Canada. The Marketing manager oversees all marketing activities including branding, public relations, advertising, external and internal communications, crisis communications, trade shows, seminars and events collateral materials, SEO/SEM and website design and content. The incumbent works closely with Sales Directors to develop and manage growth strategies and programs; and create tools and insights to support the sales team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develop and implement Hikvision Canada marketing strategies to achieve the company's growth plan
- Develop and drive marketing strategies for overall Canadian social media
- Oversee all marketing activities including branding, public relations, advertising, external and internal communications, crisis communications, trade shows, seminars and events collateral materials, SEO/SEM and website design and content
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Ensure cohesive marketing link between Hikvision's existing business and new businesses
- Work closely with Sales Directors to develop and manage growth strategies and programs; and create tools and insights to support the sales team.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders (creative, product, sales, operations teams), exhibit design teams, and third-party vendors/providers - in event planning process
- Evaluate, select & direct outside agencies and vendors in Canada, including industry associations, advertising agencies, translation agencies, freelance writers and media contacts
- Support product launch process and go-to-market plan development from the Communications perspective, delivering effective content communications externally and internally for Canada
- Collaborate with HQ global markets to ensure MarCom deliverables align to business objectives and support Canadian market
- Maintain inventory of Canadian marketing materials, place orders, verify receipts, and support the sales team in preparing and coordinating, in conjunction with the Logistics team, the shipment of materials
- Champion process improvement and utilize analytics and data to drive business based decisions across Online, Digital Marketing and Social Media
- Manage and organize Canadian trade shows and events identifying and resolving problems and ensuring positive executions
- Manage Canadian event expenses and review accuracy of invoices, maintaining event history and records
- Identify new Canadian events, sponsorships, and partnerships for increased brand awareness
- Oversee and manage Marketing budget
- Ensure effective delivery of outstanding marketing programs
- Deliver and track commercial results of the marketing programs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
- English fluency with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flare for developing outstanding internal marketing presentations and plans
- Track record of successfully promoting in a B2B environment and of helping build brands with recognized impact, preferably for electronics or physical security products
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage internal and external audiences
- Experience with traditional, digital, online and social media platforms and evaluative tools related to performance
- Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example
- Event management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with sales & marketing tools and event management platforms including Salesforce, Cvent, HubSpot, WordPress, etc.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or above in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline
- 7+ years progressive marketing experience, in a B2B environment, preferably in electronics or physical security industry
