Why This Role is Important:

We are looking for a hardworking and independent co-op student to support the PC Services Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to learn about the insurance and telecom industry in Canada and work on the delivery of marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You will support PC Insurance, The Mobile Shop, PC Mobile, and No Name Mobile, in marketing activities with duties ranging from campaign execution to ad-hoc creative requests. This well-rounded internship will give you experience in all areas of marketing and set you up for success in the future. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in being organized with great attention to detail, problem solving, being curious, a relationship builder and the ability to manage projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Get exposure while supporting lifecycle marketing campaigns from planning, through to execution
  • Drive projects forward through brief writing, managing creative development with the agency, and defining customers segments with data teams
  • Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales Enablement, Creative Agency, Legal, and Data teams
  • Assist in monitoring, tracking, and communicating campaign reporting
  • Support team with ad-hoc requests as needed
  • Proofread marketing materials for clarity, grammar, and spelling
  • Work with the legal team to ensure compliance of all assigned campaigns

What You Bring

  • Enrolled in a Post Secondary Business or Marketing program
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical and problem-solving acumen
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Project Management and time management skills
  • Financial competencies
