ABOUT:
Are you an ambitious and driven sales professional looking for a new challenge? Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. With a strong knowledge and passion for commercial building materials, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, generating sales opportunities, and supporting external sales teams. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in maximizing sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive product demand.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively reach out to potential clients to generate leads.
- Prepare quotes and estimates, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of orders.
- Provide customers with updates on order shipments and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Stay up to date on product lines, technical information, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Identify sales opportunities and provide recommendations on products and services.
- Monitor and achieve sales targets and goals.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities to enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM software.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, customer service, and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
