About The Role
As our first marketing hire, this person will build the foundations for our growing brand. This is a role for someone who wants to build a strategy but is also comfortable creating content and executing all the steps to see that strategy through.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Building
- Better define our brand voice
- Create collateral that aligns with this brand voice
Canadian PR
- Identify and leverage PR opportunities
- Drive the creation of written, video and photo content
Social Media
- Create photo and video content for instagram, linkedin, tiktok etc.
- Engage and manage our online communities.
Events, Competitions, and Awards
- Identify events for our team to participate in or showcase at
- Design and order collateral including giveaway items, backdrops, etc
- Organize private events and tastings
Data Tracking
- Track success of initiatives.
- Share progress with senior leadership and team.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in marketing for startups, consulting, or agency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication is a necessity.
- Superb organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in startups or restaurants is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
