Marketing & Content Coordinator (Social Media)

Compensation: $20-27 CAD/hour

Type: Full-time employee, on-site only

Location: 114 Dundas St East, Whitby, Ontario

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET

The Role As our Marketing & Content Coordinator, you'll be responsible for publishing, scheduling, and managing Swift's daily presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (Shorts

  • Community), Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Pinterest. You'll also keep our content engine organized in ClickUp and ensure posts are optimized for each platform.

What You'll Do

Post & schedule ~10 pieces of content per day across platforms.

  • Adapt edits, thumbnails, titles, and captions to each platform.
  • Cut short clips from raw footage (basic editing: trims, captions, hooks, music, text).
  • Design simple graphics (infographics, story slides, carousels) using templates.
  • Optimize content for discoverability (tags, titles, keywords, hashtags, end screens).
  • Cross-post winning content into other channels the same day.
  • Monitor comments/DMs, escalating product/warranty questions as needed.
  • Track performance (views, retention, shares, CTR) and submit weekly reports.
  • Keep ClickUp updated with clean tasks, statuses, and deadlines.

Success in the First 90 Days

Consistent daily posting with zero missed windows.

  • Improved packaging (hooks, titles, thumbnails) that boost CTR and retention.
  • Organized content system in ClickUp, with weekly planning done before Monday.
  • Clear reporting: platform-level insights through a simple dashboard
  • weekly notes.

Must-Haves

  • 1-3+ years running social media for a brand or creator (daily posting experience).
  • Basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or Final Cut) and graphic design (Canva/Photoshop).
  • Strong copy instincts (hooks, captions, titles that drive engagement).
  • Platform fluency: IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, FB, X.
  • Highly organized with strong deadline discipline.
  • On-site availability in Whitby; must use ClickUp
  • Teams mobile apps.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Sprout Social or Meta Business Suite.
  • Deeper YouTube Studio knowledge (end screens, thumbnails).
  • Analytics experience (UTMs, CTR, watch-time).
  • Interest in hockey gear and performance.

Posting consistency (% of scheduled posts shipped on time).

  • Packaging performance (avg. 0-3s retention, CTR on titles/thumbnails).
  • Channel growth (weekly net followers/subs, saves/shares per post).
  • Turnaround time (idea ? publish within agreed SLA).

How We Work

  • Everything lives in ClickUp-if it's not in ClickUp, it didn't happen.
  • Weekly planning is done every Monday morning.
  • All content requires approval before posting.
  • On-site only (no remote).

Compensation & Start Date

  • $20-27 CAD/hour (based on experience).
  • Full-time, in-office role.
  • Start date: ASAP.
