The impact you'll make:

The Email Marketing Manager's role is to manage?the Email and SMS programs at Saje, with the primary goal of driving traffic and revenue. This includes planning channel content accordingly, continuous performance optimization, reporting on KPI's, and managing the Email/SMS tech stack. This role requires working knowledge of?list segmentation tactics and customer analytics to optimize the customer lifecycle and increase retention rate.

Both analytical and imaginative, the ideal candidate must be able to understand performance data and derive actionable insights that will optimize channel strategies. They work closely with eCommerce, Brand, and Operations teams staying in lock step.

All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje's culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.

Responsibilities :

Campaign and Marketing Calendar Development & Execution

  • Own email and SMS marketing calendar, ensuring it sufficiently supports revenue and KPI goals, while working cross-functionally with eCommerce and Brand to maintain calendar alignment.
  • Provide Creative team with ongoing best practices and learnings based on email engagement metrics
  • Oversee email building, segmenting, scheduling, and QA to ensure flawless execution of all email and SMS campaigns
  • Ideate and oversee submission of creative email briefs for all email campaigns.

Program Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and execute A/B testing strategy, including when to test, what to test, and drawing insights from results to optimize email and SMS campaigns
  • Strategize, oversee and optimize email/SMS journeys and flows to optimize customer lifecycle for revenue growth and education of our CMs
  • Build strategy and email journeys to support all digital programs, such as post-purchase and Loyalty
  • Manage list attrition through optimizing frequency, segmenting, list hygiene maintenance, and preference center build-out
  • Champion list growth through lead generation campaigns and partnerships
  • Manage relationship with ESPs

Reporting & Insights

  • Create a weekly and monthly report of channel performance with actionable insights.
  • Monitor channel KPI's and make recommendations and adjustments as necessary to ensure achieving monthly KPI targets.
  • Stay up to date with compliance requirements, new tech, privacy changes, email trends, and best practices

Knowledge, Skills & Experience you'll bring:

  • University Degree or equivalent in marketing, business, communication, analytics or a related field
  • 4+ years of direct email and SMS marketing strategy and execution (Klaviyo ESP)
  • Experience in goal-setting and defining & growing KPI's.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and/or other analytics platforms.
  • Experience in scaling email programs for DTC brands.
  • Strong understanding of customer retention, lifetime value and frequency management.
  • Excellent program management skills. Highly planful, but agile and capable of deriving creative solutions.
  • You have the ability to work effectively with a broad spectrum of both internal team members and external vendors/partners.
  • Data-driven, results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team.
  • Pro-active and works well cross-functionally.

The compensation range for this position is from $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may?vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
