About Us:

The Hotel Arts story began in 2005 when a team of local investors purchased and transformed an old Holiday Inn in Calgary's Beltline/Victoria Park. They had a vision to create a different kind of hotel in the city - design-centric, fashion-forward and innovative in its culinary offerings.

Over a decade later, the bold vision of our founders still drives our business. We challenge the ordinary. We innovate. We forge lasting relationships and connect with the local business, arts, culture and tourism communities. And in doing this, something magical has happened - the local community has connected with us.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the execution of our Strategic Marketing Plan. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing activities across our diverse portfolio of properties and brands.



- Develop and evolve the Hotel Arts Group Strategic Marketing Plan to align with business objectives.

Content and Channels:

- Direct the creation of various marketing materials across multiple channels, including websites, online advertising, social media, print collateral, and more.


- Lead and manage a cohesive Marketing team, ensuring the successful completion of all marketing initiatives.

Brand Advocacy:

- Champion the Hotel Arts brand identity and communicate brand messaging to internal and external audiences.

Media and External Relations:

- Support the development and distribution of story ideas and press releases.

- Coordinate media appearances and familiarization tours.

Performance Expectations and Measures:

- Achieve the desired results outlined in the Strategic Marketing Plan.

- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

- Demonstrate proficiency across traditional and digital marketing platforms.


- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum five years of experience in marketing, with at least two years in a managerial role.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms.

- Proficiency in website design platforms such as WordPress and TravelClick.

- Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
