HR Systems Support Analyst

The HR Systems Support Analyst role is an exciting opportunity to provide 1 st level human resources and user support for all global HR applications, focusing on Oracle Cloud HCM. Reporting to the Manager, HRIS, Compensation & Analytics, this role is an integral part of the Global Oracle Support Team and serves as a HR subject matter expert on content, processes and procedures providing operational support to internal stakeholders and end users.

This position is 100% in office in Guelph, ON.

Performance Expectations

  • Providing superior customer service monitor, track and provide guidance to all global HR System users on policy/procedure questions and issues working to resolve inquiries and improve processes for an optimal user experience
  • Identify technical system issues and work with the team to provide assistance in duplicating errors, troubleshooting and identifying root cause
  • Support the rollout of annual HR programs as it pertains to HR Systems, such as compensation cycles, performance reviews, succession planning, etc.
  • Assist with the creation of materials related to HR Systems procedures and policies (ex. work instructions, process documentation, FAQs, quick-reference cards etc.)
  • Facilitate training for end users of HR Systems
  • Assist in end to end system testing, including regression testing for new releases, user acceptance testing and issue duplication testing and documenting results
  • Participate in Oracle HCM roadmap priorities, projects and implementations.
  • Review and analyze the current system and identify opportunities for process and system enhancements either in existing designs or by adopting new functionalities and communicating a business case effectively
  • Perform regular data integrity audits via reports and data manipulation ensuring all global sites are following processes and procedures.
  • Assist in creating reports and extract data with the ability to manipulate and generate various ad-hoc reports using Oracle, Excel and PowerBI

Credentials

  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
  • Working towards or in possession of CHRP or CHRL Designation is an asset.

Desired Characteristics

  • 3 years of progressive Human Resources systems support and analysis experience including hands on experience with HR applications
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) a strong asset
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and a keen interest in HR Systems design, structure, functions and processes
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and working knowledge of HR policies and practices required.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to assess current system design and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Proven ability to adapt and work effectively in a variety of situations with changing or competing priorities
  • Ability to work well in a Team environment that is highly collaborative
  • A continuous improvement mindset and an exceptional customer service focus are critical for success along with exceptionally strong detail and problem-solving skills
