We have an exciting opportunity for a B2B Marketing Specialist to join our team! The specialist will become part of Secure Digital Markets' Marketing & Sales Teams and help develop and support the marketing and sales team initiatives.

This role is best suited for someone who has B2B marketing experience, with a particular focus in Web3/Financial services. The successful candidate in this role will have a data-driven approach to marketing, and has a comprehensive background in lead-generation via marketing, SEO, and E-mail Marketing.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Based out of our Downtown Toronto office, you will have direct contact with all team members at the firm to help us propel our social media strategy forward, and have the opportunity to take ownership, develop and innovate many of the processes within the marketing team of SDM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to optimize website content and improve organic search rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and make data-driven recommendations to enhance visibility and user experience.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and drive lead generation.
  • Email Marketing:
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive engagement, and convert prospects into customers.
  • Analyze email performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, to optimize campaigns and deliver targeted content.
  • Segment email lists and tailor content to align with lead generation goals, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Identify and target potential B2B clients within the cryptocurrency and finance space.
  • Implement new lead generation strategies to acquire new leads and qualify prospects through various marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handoff and develop a lead nurturing strategy to move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Marketing Analytics:
  • Utilize marketing analytics tools to track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns, providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations to improve ROI and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, regularly reporting on progress and suggesting adjustments based on data analysis.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports showcasing marketing performance, goals, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate monthly or quarterly lead generation reports, highlighting conversion rates, lead quality, and marketing ROI.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in SEO, email marketing, and lead generation,
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems and email management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing data to drive informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain business models within various niches (CeFi, NFTs, Marketplaces, Tokenization, etc.) is considered an asset
