BMO's award-winning payment platform, Online Banking for Business, has an exciting opportunity for a Video Producer & Graphic Designer to join its growing creative team.

The ideal candidate work with writers and SMEs to create visual experiences that promote, teach and guide clients through the Online Banking for Business platform and it's products. Duties include, but are not limited to, script writing editing, directing, animating, designing, editing, and posting content etc.

This is a full-time role, based in Toronto and reports to the Head, Product Marketing and Content Strategy.

A reel or portfolio is required.

What you'll do

  • Lead, manage, and deliver all live action and animated video productions, ensuring all content is consistent with brand tone of voice, style, and quality across all channels.
  • Create in English and French, working with translators, voice talent, and others to capture processes in both languages. (Bilingualism a big plus)
  • Work with external vendors, writing creative briefs, sourcing assets, imagery and, tracking progress for all deliverables.
  • Engineering, mixing, and mastering voiceover recordings and other audio.
  • Provide graphics support, designing, editing, and adapting photos & illustrations.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand tone of voice, quality and style across all devices.
  • Monitor video KPI's to identify ways to optimize video content.
  • Stay on top of the latest trends for video production and social media.

What you'll bring

  • You are an excellent communicator who's really organized.
  • You have significant experience with media creation and design software (Adobe CC, especially AE, PR, AU, ME [understanding formats, codecs], PS, AI, ID, BR, Figma, video capture apps), on Windows and Mac.
  • You learned design fundamentals (colour, composition, typesetting) earning a degree/diploma in film/video production or working in a professional environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience producing video content, including step-by-step explainers, promos, product demos, corporate profiles.
  • Time and project management acumen, with keen attention to detail and experience across scheduling, communications, and file-sharing applications. (Jira, Confluence, Teams/Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • You are proficient with cameras and lighting, comfortable on set or on location capturing interviews, product demos, events, and more.

Salary:

$68 000,00 - $126 000,00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
