As a Technical Sales Representative at Tech-Wood, you'll play a crucial role in managing assigned customer accounts while actively seeking new opportunities within the Calgary CMA, for both single-family and multi-family projects.

Key Responsibilities:

o Liaison between Tech-Wood and customers

o Achieve sales targets that are provided at the beginning of the fiscal year

o Customer account creation and ensuring customer information is up-to-date

o Credit application requests

o Collaboration with customers and design team to determine design efficiencies

o Quoting and pricing customer jobs

o Managing your customers A/R with a target of receiving payment within 45 days

o Communicate with shipping and production to ensure our customer timelines are met

o Administrative duties;

o creating credits and site extras

o writing comprehensive emails

o pursing outstanding accounts receivable

o participating in weekly meetings

o Regular site visits to meet with site supervisors and framers

o Representing Tech-Wood at industry functions outside of regular business hours

? Minimum of five years of experience in selling building materials would be preferred.

? Construction knowledge, including an understanding of the building process and reading house plans, would be beneficial.

? Strong customer service skills is mandatory.

? Proficient with computers (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have the ability to learn our internal software program.

? Knowledge of Engineered Wood Products and roof trusses would be a definite asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
