We are seeking an Events, Turnaround and Projects Coordinator to join our Utilities & Off Plots (U&O) Production Team at our Joffre Site in Central Alberta, near Red Deer. The position will report to the U&O Production Leader.
You Will Use Your Expertise To:
Develop and control unit/equipment outage scope in alignment with outage objectives (construction, inspection, etc.)
Ensure successful Operations engagement in capital and major maintenance projects
Ensure resource support is provided as required to fulfill Operations responsibilities within Maintenance Work Management (MWM) and capital processes
Ensure Operations field support is provided as required
Make resourcing decisions for site projects, events and turnarounds
Meet performance objectives for site projects, events and turnarounds
Provide and update U&O scope for site turnarounds
Support Operations Maintenance Coordinator and Production Coordinator responsibilities as required
Be responsible for the effectiveness of unit sustaining capital and mid-size capital portfolio
Be responsible for the effectiveness of the unit maintenance, turnaround and capital programs
What We Are Looking For:
2-year technical school diploma or Red Seal Journeyman Certificate with 10+ years of operations or maintenance experience or 12+ years of progressive operations or maintenance experience in a manufacturing discipline
An unwavering commitment to Responsible Care® and Goal Zero safety performance
Demonstrated leadership skills such as accountability, coaching, mentoring, counseling, delegating, conflict resolution, and managing change
Attention to detail and takes initiative
Effective communication and influencing skills
Strong results orientation with proven capability to work to broadly defined objectives and overcoming barriers
Computer proficiency in SAP and Microsoft office applications
Ability to recognize own limitations and seek assistance from others
Good planning and organizing skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Working knowledge of Maintenance Work Management Processes (i.e., notifications, work orders, planning, scheduling, execution, and follow-up)
