Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager and as an integral part of a collaborative marketing team, the Digital & Social Media Coordinator will quarterback a variety of online promotional activities for one of the aquarium hobby’s best-selling global brands.


Digital Marketing

  • Develop consumer newsletter and email campaigns, including list segmentation, content coordination and journey automation
  • Ensure brand (head office) and regional office email activities are aligned
  • Lead the development and upkeep of the email marketing calendar
  • Create new opportunities to promote email database growth
  • Provide ongoing email analytics reporting
  • Create, track and update paid digital ad campaigns (i.e. Google display and search)
  • Key contact for external digital marketing resources (i.e. Meta, Salesforce, Hootsuite)

Social Media

  • Participate in global digital marketing team meetings and follow-up with regional associates to ensure planned brand activities are upheld
  • Create, track and update paid social media ad campaigns
  • Lead the development and upkeep of the social media monthly calendar
  • Collaborate with social media content creator and website administrator to ensure social and web activities are aligned
  • Monitor social media to identify and implement influencer collaborations (i.e. sponsorships, giveaways, product promotions) while maintaining social tracker document
  • Provide ongoing social media analytics reporting


  • Post-secondary degree in Digital Media, Social Media, Marketing or a related field
  • A self-starter with the ability to multi-task and maintain organized records
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Direct experience and advanced knowledge of:
    • Email marketing platforms (i.e. Salesforce, MailChimp)
    • Social media posting, advertising and analytics
    • Digital advertising platforms (i.e. Meta Ads, Google Ads)
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or equivalent CRM platform)
