Alberta Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) is seeking a Coordinator, Export Sales to work out of our office in St. Albert, AB. The successful candidate is responsible for engaging internal stakeholders, customers and agents to develop and sustain mutually beneficial relationships and support the sales team and agents to meet or exceed the sales strategy and business goals. The position is responsible for processing all Letter of Credit documentation for Al-Pac's export sales, while also coordinating and communicating the shipment information to our customers/agents. This position will also support some domestic documentation and coordination as required.

Role Responsibilities
Customer and Agent Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and agents to provide the highest quality of customer support.
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer quality and shipping requirements.
Volume Allotment:
- Coordinate with Production and Logistics to monitor supply chain and inventory levels to maintain an adequate supply of pulp in our warehouses.
Delivery:
- Delivery of equipment and materials to other business areas.
Insights and Reporting:
- Create and provide timely reports and documentation to inform customers and stakeholders (internal and external).
- Inform logistics on anticipated customer requirements to meet their needs.
- Process Letters of Credit to ensure they are completed accurately and received in a timely manner.
- Create and review sales order contracts and purchase orders.
- Create sales orders in SAP and ensure they are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Market Diversification:
Partner with Logistics to investigate and recommend alternative supply chain opportunities to reduce risk and costs and improve reliability.
Marketing:
- Work with other business units, agents, and associations to communicate and leverage our preferred brand value.
Role Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2+ years experience in a professional B2B customer interfacing role (ie. Sales or Procurement) or Transportation, Sales Coordination, Supply Chain Management.
Considered an asset:
- Experience with letter of credit processing.
- Experience working with internal and external auditors.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment, able to support and gain support cross functionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP).
- Knowledge and understanding of supply chains.
- Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships (internally and externally).
- Ability to deal with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Ability to work under pressure and in changing environments.
- Strong prioritization skills.
