Job Overview

Based in our Calgary, Alberta office, FTP has a unique opportunity for a senior leadership position within FTP's global mining business accountable for ensuring that the strategy, culture and delivery of the professional services team grows and adapts to the mining industry's needs in alignment with FTP's overall strategy. You will lead a high performing global team to deliver services that meet existing and potential clients' current and future needs.

The role will ensure the professional services team can provide collaborative input into Sales and Business Development (BD) opportunities as they arise and maintain the necessary resources to plan and deliver against these should they succeed. In particular, the role will be accountable for the consult and design offerings as part of FTP's Journey to Autonomy.

The role is expected to maintain senior-level customer relationships and be a senior regional interface representing FTP's interests as required.

What you will bring

Essential:

• Proven experience as a senior business executive (10 years
• )
• Demonstrable ability to communicate (written and verbally) in fluent English and conduct presentations to key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
• Formal Qualifications (Degree or Diploma level) in Engineering (Electronics) or Telecommunications Engineering
• Hands-on experience in networking, OT and telecommunications technology
• Ability to set and manage budgets along with general business acumen with a solutions-focused attitude
• Understanding of performance and tracking systems and metrics (financial and non-financial)
• Project management experience
• Experience leading high performing teams
• Strong coaching, mentoring and change management skills
• High level time management skills with demonstrated ability to achieve goals and outcomes
• Mining operational experience is preferred
• Ability to work on site and travel via plane or vehicle to company and client locations as required, both nationally and internationally.
• Eligibility to obtain working rights in Canada

Desirable

• Diploma of Leadership and Management or equivalent Leadership training

• Salary Range $180,000 - $200,000 CAD package depending on experience
