LAB 4 GAMES BRAND AMBASSADOR

POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to maximize sales of Lab4Game’s titles in the US Market and across channels. The Brand Ambassador will bring L4G to the US market and build strong relationships within the US Distribution Teams.

PLAYFUL MISSIONS 

  • Globally promote Lab4Games within the US Distribution Teams, to ensure knowledge of L4G games in this market.
  • In collaboration with the Vendor Relations team, ensure better collaboration between L4G and the US Distribution teams.
  • Support Purchasing, Sales, Publishing Services and Commercial Marketing teams in purchasing the right level of inventory for existing and new I.P.’s, and ensuring that stock projections are sufficient.
  • Working with the Commercial Marketing Team, ensure effective launches of new releases within allocated budgets.
  • Contact and send copies of games to industry influencers and dedicated websites.
  • Collaborate with the Events teams to maximize L4G presence at local trade fairs (budget permitting) to promote our publications and contact game designers (receive and test prototypes).
  • Train the Sales teams on gameplay for new releases and on how to sell these games to retailers. Prepare the selection and follow up of listing appointments with distribution channels.
  • Better define L4G’s target markets within the US, including sales projections for each channel.
  • Set up KPI’s to monitor the performance of L4G games in applicable US channels.
  • Provide feedback to L4G design and development teams to maximize the success of our games in the US market, with a particular focus on game box design. Participate in the game development process and share editorial information with the US DU.
  • Create or improve our US based community on Social Media platforms.
  • Represent L4G at trade fairs, with reviewers, on websites, etc. Improve our contact with game designers during fairs.

ARE YOU READY TO PLAY?

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the board game industry, with a strong background in sales strategy.
  • Proven ability to grow brands in a variety of markets and channels.
  • Experience working with international companies.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken French and English. English fluency is required to effectively communicate with our international partners and studios.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok.
  • Ability to speak to internal and external stakeholders and a wide variety of collaborators, tailoring the message to the appropriate audience.
  • Comfortable collaborating with leaders and teams across the US and European markets.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and explain diverse product lines with ease.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with other teams and individuals.
  • Frequent US domestic travel for industry events, trade fairs. International travel at least twice annually, for up to two weeks at a time.
