Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Development, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support and assistance to the Infrastructure and Development Department.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Answering phone calls from the public;
  • Document control;
  • Co-ordinate with other departments;
  • Prepare invoicing for approval;
  • Assist the Director in project administration including reporting, budget preparation and cost control; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

Application Shall Possess The Following

  • Grade 12 diploma;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi - task several projects;
  • The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines;
  • A helpful demeanor and positive attitude;
  • Practical knowledge and experience in business applications;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Sound grammatical and formatting of written communications; and
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and in an effective manner.

The following will be considered as a desirable asset to this position:

  • 1 year of applicable post-secondary education;
  • A certificate or diploma in office administration;

Full Time

  • Temporary Employment

Wage: $27.63-34.68 per hour

Term: January 2025 to September 2026

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
