Barista Microtorréfacteur is an artisan roaster established in Montreal since its creation in 2004. Barista's mission is to democratize knowledge and make specialty coffee available to as many Quebecers as possible to enjoy at home! The company has more than 700 commercial customers and a large community of consumers throughout Quebec and other regions. We have developed a unique business model that we are proud of, where the consumer and our customers are at the center of the coffee experience.

Café Barista is the ideal playground for a young professional eager to share ideas, create content, public relations and develop promotional campaigns.

This role is expected in office 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday), and one day work from home (Fridays).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation:
• Participate in the deployment of bold promotional campaigns
• Participate in the development of the content strategy
• Write blog articles and optimize them.
• Integrate or reintegrate various content on the website.
• Participate in the creation of videos and the coordination of video projects.
• Participate in taking photos according to the content calendar and different projects.
• Coordinate the creation and implementation of promotions (internal and with partners).
• Coordinate the creation of various visuals for social networks.
• Write newsletters (B2C and B2B)

Animation of social networks:
• Creatw the multi-platform content calendar, create content (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, blog, etc.).
• Develop original content linked to the brand.
• Ensure the management, animation and monitoring of the different communities on a daily basis.
• Ensure the management of comments received on the website, social networks or any other digital platform.
• Manage product reviews across different digital platforms.

Others:
• Support the marketing manager for events
• Stay on top of trends, best practices and make recommendations.
• All other related tasks to support marketing activities, advised by the marketing director.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in communications and/or marketing or other relevant field;
• CREATIVITY!
• Good knowledge of video production: recording and editing
• Good knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends, as well as content and social media management tools;
• Autonomy, ability to manage priorities, initiative, good judgment, versatility;
• Excellence in customer service and good team spirit;
• Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English; Bilingual is an asset!
• Want to drink the best coffee in town, and work with a motivated team, always in a good mood.
