Reliable Waste Management (RWM) is a mid-sized Canadian owned and operated business with strong entrepreneurial roots. Located in Vaughan, RWM provides waste and recycling management solutions to a wide array of commercial customers in the Greater Toronto area. Our operations range from waste and recycling haulage to equipment sales, leasing and rentals. Our customer service division is growing, and we are looking for new members to join our team at our Vaughan location.

We are currently seeking an exceptional Sales Representative with a proven track record of surpassing targets and consistently delivering exceptional results. You will identify, grow and maintain sales activity according to the organization's strategic direction. A primary focus in this position is to develop and sell company services to new and existing customers while maintaining a retention focus, along with expanding channels to market with key, strategic accounts. The role is extremely hands-on and detail-oriented, bearing much accountability, therefore you must be responsible and self-reliant.
The Role
- Actively prospect new clients through targeted phone calls, impactful emails, and in-person visits
- Meet with prospects in a defined territory, present our products and services convincingly, and develop tailored proposals to meet their specific needs
- Build a client portfolio by acquiring new accounts to achieve sales targets
- Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and effectively addressing their needs
- Collaborate closely with the internal team by providing detailed reports on interactions with prospects and existing clients
- Regularly update the Excel dashboard to ensure effective management of customer information and sales activities
- On the road 90% of the time and in the office 10%
You Have
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Business, or Other relevant degree / diploma, with relevant experience in the sales field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in waste management/recycling sector(s), with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong client relationships
- Proven skills in prospecting and client development
- Ability to leverage strategic information to generate tangible business results
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to optimize sales efforts
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively
- Proficiency and functional English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Office suite with familiarity entering sales context to Excel
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for professional travel

Schedule - Day shifts Monday to Friday
Salary Range - $50k to $80k start rate subject to experience and proven sales history, with an additional 200% commission
