About the position
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Director, Business Development and Marketing will be responsible for defining and implementing the business development and marketing strategy to strengthen our partnerships, seize new opportunities, and increase our presence in the construction markets in Quebec and Ontario.
You will play a key role in the development and execution of the company’s growth strategies. Your mission will be to analyze the organization’s performance, develop innovative initiatives, and ensure their effective implementation to maximize commercial impact.
You will act as the organization's ambassador by promoting the full range of services offered by JCB to clients across its various market segments, through representation activities, business development, and marketing across Quebec and Ontario.
As Senior Director, Business Development and Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing business development and marketing strategies to drive company growth and achieve our ambitious business goals;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders;
- Supervising business development and marketing teams to ensure optimal synergy and effectively guide efforts;
- Identifying new market opportunities and proposing innovative approaches to capture them;
- Designing and implementing effective marketing strategies, including service proposals, branding, digital campaigns, and communication;
- Conducting competitive intelligence and analyzing market trends to adapt our strategies;
- Collaborating with internal teams to align sales and marketing strategies with the company’s overall objectives;
- Providing detailed reports to management on sales and marketing activities to support the advancement of potential projects;
- Identifying new market segments and implementing actions to develop them;
- Participating in various industry events to ensure company visibility and build relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
To work with us, you need to have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, management, or equivalent;
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in construction or real estate;
- Strong expertise in business strategy, negotiation, and high-level relationship management;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM;
- Excellent understanding of market trends, digital marketing, and branding strategies;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is essential;
- Own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license;
