Compensation: $ 38.00/hour

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Leading development & deployment of the @Joicocanada Instagram content calendar to support innovation & strategic priorities
  • Leading content creation, copy writing and posting across Meta & Instagram
  • Identifying gaps in content and working with creative agency to develop and launch
  • Community management (e.g. comments on posts, answering dm's etc.)
  • UGC management
  • Social KPI reporting
  • Further supporting the team with:
  • Setting, tracking and achieving social KPIs
  • Supporting the National Education Manager with virtual education assets
  • Creating, editing, and posting photos and videos for IG & TikTok
  • Overseeing Joico Canada's paid ad strategy across Meta & Tiktok and working closely with agency partners

The Consumer Brands - Hair Professional division is looking for a creative and forward thinking, Social Media & Content Specialist to join the team in the Mississauga (ON) office.

The opportunity

As Social Media & Content Specialist you will translate the Joico Marketing strategic priorities into creative & engaging social content to grow followers and engagement. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute a content calendar across Joico Canada's social platforms. The successful candidate is passionate about beauty, a trendsetter in social media, with proven ability to create and engage both internally with the marketing, sales and education team, and externally with our followers of

  • 16K.

Qualifications-

Minimum Requirements:

  • Creative flair, a passion for beauty, budding ideas for content across various social platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of various social media platforms and assets either through personal or work experience (i.e. Instagram stories, reels, grid posts, Tik Tok, Facebook)
  • Knowledge of paid ads is preferred
  • Social content photography & editing capabilities
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Superior communication, copywriting, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and French is beneficial
  • Proficiency with Canva and PowerPoint.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Bachelor's Degree or College certificate in Marketing or Communications is preferred.
