Location: Head Office - Mississauga.

Employment Type: Full-time (contract with potential for permanent placement) 40 hours/week - evenings and weekends may be required.

The Marketing Manager/Lead is responsible for planning and managing all the company's marketing and communication activities to achieve sales and market share growth.

Main Duties Include

  • Promote and market actively the company's products to both existing and potential customers
  • Create national and territory specific marketing plans and budgets
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge
  • Stay informed about market and industry trends, competitors, and partners to ensure the company's products remain competitive and well received
  • Manage all digital marketing duties including:
  • Websites and microsite design, content creation and support
  • Banners design
  • Content creation for websites including images, news, videos, audio, PDFs, PowerPoint Presentations
  • Social Media sites (LinkedIN, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc): Company's corporate Pages Design, content creation, and support
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performing, monitoring and ranking improving
  • Company's e-mail newsletters design, e-mail blasts, etc.
  • Manage traditional marketing duties including:
  • Print, design, and supervise; Corporate Identity (Business cards, Cover Letters, Envelopes, Stickers etc), Flyers, Catalogues, Posters, Corporate Souvenirs, etc...
  • Creative support for the trade shows including booth's design, hand-out materials and posters design, other
  • Liaising with Magazine Publishers, Editors..
  • Arrange trade shows nationally and internationally to promote company's products and services
  • Organize participation in the trade shows throughout Canada, support in communicating with show management, incl. building and dismounting the booth
  • Keep company marketing and intellectual property confidential and secure
  • Keep marketing expenses within budget figures
  • Inter- & Intra-province and international business travel as acquire (i.e. for trade show)

Qualifications And Skills Required

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing, Sales and Communication
  • Experience in electrical/technical/industrial/HVAC industries (preferred)
  • Ability to self-motivate, multitask, and work independently or within a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to develop marketing and communication plans and targets
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able and willing to travel within Canada and internationally
