Front-end Web Developer We are seeking a front-end web developer to join our team. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for modifying the user interface of the application used to run the Armis Community, Gainsight InSided and our Support Portal on Salesforce Experience Cloud. Qualified candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript and a solid understanding of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design. Your duties will include synthesizing requirements (verbal, FIGMA, etc.) and creating prototypes for iteration. You will create reusable code and build high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. You will also be responsible for implementing new features to our Community website, creating custom web pages, handling the integration of plugins, and performing routine maintenance and performance optimizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Below are some of the responsibilities this front-end developer is expected to assume:- Build web applications with web development best practices
- Transform app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
- On-site search engine optimization (SEO)
- Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to integrate applications with 3rd party services through the use of (REST) APIs
- Prior experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Below are the qualifications expected of a front-end developer:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue
- Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap
- Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
- Proficient working knowledge of web based accessibility practices
- Working knowledge of SEO principles
- Basic proficiency with Photoshop and web design
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing The ideal candidate will also be skilled in video editing and graphic design.
