About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and creative VP of Marketing to provide leadership and ownership of the development and execution of the global marketing strategy. In this role you will lead the development of digital, content and social strategies for Cerio. In addition, you will collaborate with Product Management to ensure that Cerio solutions are demand-driven, with the right mix of features, positioning and price. This position is also responsible for planning, staffing, training, and managing all marketing functions to achieve the company objectives for sales growth, and visibility while ensuring a consistent global marketing message and positioning.

What You'll Do

• Develop, create, train and evangelize new and existing Cerio solutions and lead the charge on creating new segment and channel opportunities as part of the go-to-market strategy
• Define and drive digital strategies for customer acquisition, retention and engagement
• Build brand awareness and positioning for Cerio brands through high-impact marketing communications and programs, public relations, media and events
• Develop digital marketing plans and partner with internal teams and outside agencies to build effective digital campaigns, new product launches and platforms
• Research and pursue marketing opportunities related to direct and co-branded marketing, new customer acquisition, and retention programs
• Manage the development of the company's marketing and communications materials, exhibits, and sales promotional programs
• Develop and nurture licensing and/or partner relationships to drive growth
• Advance channel development and pricing strategy within the regions, and communicate the plan and progress throughout the organization
• Collaborate with the executive team on long-term strategic planning initiatives

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in senior marketing leadership roles (Data Center and Media & Entertainment experience preferred)
• Deep understanding of B2B digital, account-based marketing and cross-channel strategies
• Proven track record leading marketing and advertising initiatives with a performance history of driving revenue and increasing market share within high-growth, fast-paced environments
• Strong familiarity and use of social media channels (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter)
• A motivated, proactive, dynamic, creative and results-oriented mindset and approach
• Ability to contribute to strategic vision and communicate it to a wide variety of audiences, including influencers, evangelists, business leaders, and the media
• A desire and ability to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with cross-functional teams and work alongside those you will manage and mentor
• Skill in creating compelling and consistent campaigns and messaging, breaking down complex technology for technical and non-technical audiences to communicate the core capabilities and benefits of our solutions for customers and partners.
• Bachelor's or MBA Degree in Marketing or a related field
