Job Title: Part-Time Social Media Specialist

Location: Halifax, NS (Hybrid Role)

Graphic Design Halifax is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media and digital marketing, thrives on creativity, and enjoys collaborating with a talented graphic design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct social media account audits and analyze performance
• Collaborate with the graphic design / social media team to develop engaging content ideas for various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Capture and edit photos/videos professionally or with an iPhone
• Schedule and manage posts using social media management software
• Track, measure, and report performance metrics using Google Analytics and other insights tools
• Assist in optimizing social media strategies for clients across various industries

Required Skills & Software Proficiency:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.)
• Strong understanding of WordPress CMS
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and social media insights
• Photo/video capturing and editing skills, using either professional tools or an iPhone

Preferred Experience:

• Demonstrated success in managing social media platforms, including creative direction and execution (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Industry-specific experience (let us know if you have any!)
• Proven experience collaborating with creative teams and executing content strategies
