Introduction
We're hiring for a new role within our organisation, a Marketing Manager to take broad ownership of our marketing activities. We're a small but growing business focused on our customers having fun and awesome experiences with us!
About Us
Laser City is in the business of fun! We have 3 facilities in Alberta (1 in Edmonton, 2 in Calgary) and offer a variety of different products including Laser Tag, Mini Paintball (for ages 8-12), eSports, Birthday Parties, Day Camps and more.
We're focused on delivering fun and safe experiences to our tens of thousands of customers. We've grown very fast in our first 10 years and we have big plans for more growth.
About You
The ideal candidate for the role is someone who can be both a do'er and a leader - sometimes you'll be the person both developing and implementing the strategy, and other times you'll do the planning and then supervise the people (internal or external) who are doing the legwork.
About The Role
We've reached a point in our growth where we need a new person who can work with the leadership team to develop and implement the marketing projects on our roadmap, as well as oversee the existing routine marketing we already do (social, email, PPC, etc).
You'll work directly with the owners (who are marketers themselves but also wear a lot of other hats) as well as people in the marketing and customer service teams.
We currently have a full-time Marketing Specialist who is responsible for implementing our routine marketing campaigns and initiatives, but we now need someone who is more focused on strategy and new projects. The Marketing Manager would also be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Marketing Specialist.
We extensively use email marketing (over 100,000 contacts), in-facility print and digital signage, paid and organic social media, as well as PPC and SEO, so we're looking for someone with experience in those areas. We're obviously a consumer facing business, so experience in B2C marketing (vs B2B only) is essential.

- Update other teams (operations and customer service) on promotions, campaigns, etc
- Visit our Calgary locations to implement marketing projects and educate the teams there

- Fun services to be marketing (our customers enjoy our services, which makes selling them a lot easier!)
- Flexible working hours
- All the laser tag you can play
This role is based in our office in South Edmonton (5104 67 Ave)
To apply complete the application form with your information and then tell us about your experience with the things we're looking for. Also, mention if you're a cat or dog person. We don't care either way, but this will show if you actually read the whole ad.
