In this temporary 12-month role as Senior Manager, Internal Communications & Culture, you'll report to the Chief People Officer and lead a team of 6 across Internal Communications, Events, Impact & Inclusion, and Facilities, shaping our employee experience across 4 locations and time zones.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and evolve Benevity's people experience philosophy and future of work approach to attract, develop, and retain top talent across hubs and remote teams
  • Project manage major culture and communication initiatives in collaboration with the Executive team, People Leadership, and People Experience team
  • Lead, develop, and prioritize the work of a team of 6 across Internal Communications, Events, Impact & Inclusion, and Facilities
  • Guide internal communications to enhance cross-functional awareness and deepen understanding of our business and values
  • Provide vision and leadership for company-wide culture and internal events
  • Partner with the Purpose team to drive Impact & Inclusion efforts, including DEI&B, ERGs, and community impact initiatives
  • Oversee the engagement survey process to continuously improve Benevity's culture
  • Lead facilities projects to support Benevity's hub office strategy
  • Be adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Utilize Mac, Google Suite, Slack, Asana, Confluence, and Culture Amp to drive results

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant leadership experience in culture and people experience, employee engagement, organizational communications, change management, or culture transformation
  • Exceptional visual, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to frame, position, and influence effectively
  • Proven experience in developing internal communications strategies and crafting impactful messaging
  • Skilled in designing and implementing engagement, communication, and transformation strategies in complex organizations and diverse employee groups
  • Experience shaping a future-of-work philosophy that attracts, develops, and retains top global talent
  • People-centered leadership style with the ability to build and inspire a high-performing team
  • Success in leading large-scale, company-wide change initiatives in partnership with executives and senior leadership, with a track record of gaining alignment on key decisions
  • Experience in event strategy and production, successfully leading multi-day company-wide events across digital, physical, and hybrid formats
  • Strong project management skills, including managing project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Proven track record of creating innovative, collaborative, and measurable business solutions
