Platform is a leading influencer management agency representing over 90 creators across Canada and the U.S. We build meaningful creator-brand partnerships and are known for our inclusive culture, creative campaigns, and community-driven approach. Our events (Platform Social, Speakeasy, etc) and digital channels reach thousands of marketers, creators, and industry leaders.
We're looking for a creative, organized, and community-minded, social media saavy Content and Community Manager to take ownership of our digital presence across social media, newsletters, and our website. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating content, building community, and amplifying voices in the influencer marketing industry.
What You'll Do
- Content Creation & Social Media
- Design engaging graphics using Canva and repurpose our large archive of photo/video content for Instagram/LinkedIn/TikTok.
- Write thoughtful and professional posts for LinkedIn.
- Lead content creation on-site at events, ensuring real-time storytelling.
- Manage our social media calendar and ideate fresh campaigns to grow engagement.
- Build community by replying to comments and DMs, and engaging with creators' and clients' posts.
- Newsletters & Blog
- Create monthly newsletters for clients and creators highlighting partnerships, industry updates, and Platform news.
- Write monthly blog posts for our website to position Platform as a thought leader.
- Brand Voice & Cohesion
- Ensure a cohesive tone and visual identity across website, newsletters, and socials.
- Get to know our roster of creators and amplify their work through our channels.
- Collaborate with our internal team to bring exciting new ideas to life and move projects forward.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Proficiency in Canva (bonus: familiarity with other design or video editing tools).
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing and digital trends.
- Self-starter with the ability to own projects end-to-end and bring fresh energy.
- Collaborative, trustworthy, and able to inspire team buy-in for creative ideas.
- Based in Toronto, able to work from our downtown office regularly, with flexibility to work remotely when appropriate.
