Marketing Manager - Canada

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Marketing Manager - Canada for a globally loved, design-led gift and lifestyle brand. In this role, you'll execute regional retail and trade marketing initiatives, support our shop-in-shops, and adapt global campaigns for the Canadian market. This position is ideal for someone who excels in retail marketing, wholesale support, and multi-stakeholder communication - not someone focused primarily on PR, consumer brand campaigns, or social media.

What You'll Actually Do as the Marketing Manager - Canada:

  • Build and manage an annual Canadian retail marketing calendar including product launches, shop-in-shops, exclusives, activations, and key seasonal moments.
  • Partner closely with the Sales Team, Account Managers, and small business retailers across the country to ensure alignment on marketing priorities.
  • Create and deliver marketing toolkits, catalogues, sell-in decks, and POS materials tailored to Canada's retail landscape.
  • Coordinate with the UK brand, creative, PR, and social teams to execute global campaigns at a regional level.
  • Maintain strong relationships with national retailers and support communication around account changes, exclusives, and product drops.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of regional retail marketing initiatives and use insights to optimize future activities.
  • Support budgeting for Canadian marketing efforts and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Travel 20-30% to visit shop-in-shops and retail partners in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montréal.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 5-8 years of experience in retail marketing, wholesale marketing, or brand marketing within a premium or design-led company.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape.
  • Experience producing marketing materials such as toolkits, catalogues, sales decks, and promotional assets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed global organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to senior leaders.
  • A proactive, flexible, collaborative approach and comfort working in a fast-paced environment where processes are still being built.
  • French-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.

Why This Role Fits Your Life:

Employment type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid role)

Compensation: $90,000-$115,000 CAD

  • discretionary annual bonus

Travel: Up to 20-30% across Canada
