About the Role:

The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by handling inbound leads, assisting with follow-up on quotes and meetings, and providing key administrative support to free up time for higher-value sales activities. This role will also be responsible for helping with trade show leads, sales research, and maintaining consistent communication efforts across the team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other prospecting tools.
  • Conduct thorough research on target accounts and industries.
  • Execute targeted email campaigns and conduct outbound calls to generate qualified leads.
Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Qualify inbound leads and assess their potential for becoming customers.
  • Schedule and conduct introductory calls with potential clients.
  • Nurture leads through personalized follow-up and provide valuable information about Deep Trekker's solutions.
Sales Support: Assist Account Executives in preparing for sales calls and presentations.
  • Schedule meetings, demos, and site visits.
  • Prepare and send proposals and quotes.
  • Track and report on key sales metrics.
Field Experience & Customer Interaction: Participate in trade shows and industry events.
  • Assist with on-water and in-field customer demonstrations, gaining valuable firsthand experience with our products.
  • Live chat support: Answer inquiries from the company's live chat tool and direct leads to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Proficiency in using sales prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.)
  • A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
  • A passion for technology and a desire to learn about the underwater robotics industry
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
