Reporting to the Team Lead, Product Marketing you will work with collaboratively with all SMART's business functions to drive the cross functional development and execution of the global product marketing and launch plans for the hardware and software solutions for education and business segments. You will work closely with SMART's strategic marketing, sales operations, regional sales and marketing communications departments to ensure that go-to-market product plans deliver on time, on budget and on quality. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Develop global product marketing & communication plans for SMART's hardware & software solutions, including product launches, ongoing marketing activities and product discontinuations, ensuring timely and effective communications to all internal and external stakeholders Lead the development of cross-functional go-to-market plans for new hardware & software launches including value proposition articulation and internal organizational readiness Translate product positioning into customer-focused messaging Create marketing material that effectively supports the sales process Engage with international & regional field marketing teams to ensure effective localization of marketing plans and communications to support regional objectives Support marketing campaigns through the delivery of product- specific messaging and ensuring appropriate product coverage Work with various subject matter experts to ensure development of high impact messaging, PR, marketing material and sales tools including product briefs, presentations, and website presence to include key benefit statements Build the internal field and channel's knowledge of the hardware value proposition and develop sales tools that support the selling process Work with the training team to develop training programs that support the sales teams in effectively selling hardware & software solutions Prioritize, consolidate and support ongoing marketing and launch activities across hardware & software product portfolios Report against key project metrics to determine effectiveness of initiatives Core Competencies A basic understanding of all aspects of marketing and the role each one plays in the product lifecycle Highly motivated, energetic and eager to quickly learn SMART solutions and adapt to new technologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization skills with the ability to effectively operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company Strong project management skills and attention to detail Troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills Ability to take ownership and responsibility of assigned projects Ability to work independently Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to ensure proper alignment. Experience / Education You have the following qualifications: 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably focused on products and technology, including at least two years' of direct product marketing experience University Degree in marketing or a related field Experience in launching technical products and communicating benefits Able to travel as required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint Additional Details The work environment is fast-paced This role is a hybrid position, with 3 days in office and 2 remote #LI-HYBRID #LI-AS1
