YOUR MISSION
As communications coordinator, you will first be called upon to assist the director, managers, and Senior publicists on each show in the execution of various public relations projects.
· Manage the updating of press kits and media material (photos, videos, etc.) for touring shows, in collaboration with publicists.
· Draft press releases and other press documents.
· Following instructions from managers and publicists, approach and follow up with local PR agencies for RFP submissions.
· Follow-up with local PR agencies on contract signatures, work procedures and available PR material for touring shows.
· Assist publicists in booking travel for AMDs and press junkets.
· Assist the organization of premiere events by creating guest lists and helping with ticket reservations.
· Under the supervision of managers or publicists, collaborate on the optimization of platforms and PR work management tools to facilitate communications, archiving and information exchange between publicists and the entire team. Continuously update the tools.
· Coordinate the archiving of press reviews of touring shows on the server and send more noteworthy coverage to the corporate division's PR team on a weekly basis.
· In collaboration with the WEB team, ensure updates related to touring shows on the website.
Secondly, you will support the Communications Director in managing public relations and marketing activities, more specifically, you will be required to:
· Layout, write and prepare presentations to committees and management.
· Research and compile information
· Update various files and information banks (photos, videos, customer databases).
· Assist in the preparation of presentations.
· Proofread press releases.
· Research or update media and journalist lists.
· Update press review (research and layout of press kit).
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
· Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar field.
· Bachelor's degree in communications an asset.
· Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
· Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
· Flexibility and good organizational skills.
· Availability, punctuality, and ability to work under pressure,
· Ability to manage priorities and work as part of a team, Initiative, discretion, autonomy, organizational skills, and diplomacy,
· Excellent communication skills.
