You’ll be the internal HCM/WFM configuration expert, translating evolving business needs into scalable, welldocumented configuration across scheduling, time & attendance, timeoff, and other workflows. You will improve visibility to labour management, simplify manager workflows, and strengthen data quality and compliance of our current state. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Configure and maintain schedulingtimekeepingtimeoff/accruals, and pay rules/premiums to support operational needs and compliance. 

  • Design and optimize workflows/forms and approval routing (e.g., status changes, requests), with appropriate audit trails. 

  • Define and manage roles/permissions and security profiles to ensure consistent access for managers and staff. 

  • Establish and maintain master data standards (jobs, positions, skills, locations) to enable accurate rules and reporting. 

  • Create and iterate on operational dashboards (e.g., schedule variance, exception/readiness, labor metrics) using available reporting tools. 

  • Coordinate data flows/integrations (imports/exports/APIs) with HRIS/Payroll/Practice systems; ensure reliable scheduling and time data. 

  • Document configuration decisions, change logs, and release notes; avoid clinic disruption through sensible change windows. 

  • Run a configuration intake and prioritization process (e.g., RICE/impact scoring), with weekly/biweekly cadence and clear SLAs. 

  • Lead testing and validation (use cases, edge cases, regression), and partner with Payroll/HR/IT on crossfunctional changes. 

  • Produce quick reference guides and taskbased training for managers; support adoption and reduce tickets. 

  • Provide Tier2 support for WFM configuration issues; track trends and propose preventive fixes. 

Qualifications 

Musthave 

  • 3–5+ years Dayforce or comparable HCM/WFM configuration experience (UKG/Kronos/Workday). 

  • Handson with workflows/formsapproval rulesroles/securityschedulingtimekeepingtimeoff/accruals, and pay policies/premiums. 

  • Understanding of compliance concepts (e.g., breaks/stat holidays, overtime rules) and auditability. 

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills; comfort with Excel and common reporting tools. 

  • Clear stakeholder communication across Operations, HR, and Payroll. 

Nicetohave 

  • Dayforce certifications or formal module training (WFM/Payroll). 

  • Experience with data integrations (imports/exports/APIs), SSO, and user provisioning. 

  • Exposure to healthcare/clinic operations or multisite scheduling environments. 

  • Experience setting up CAB/governance and release management.
