SUMMARY
Vice President of Client Services
The Vice President of Client Services leads a team that manages a portfolio of clients and the functional teams focused on managing client results, contracts, pricing, profitability, and overall execution of program goals. This role provides enterprise leadership across business management functions and serves as a pivotal leader in the design and management of client programs and contracts at retail chains nationwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Advantage Sales and Marketing LLC dba Advantage Solutions is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. Advantage Solutions services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.
Responsibilities
Retain and grow client relationships
Oversee client services teams to ensure client business plans, retail chain coverage, and field execution meet or exceed client expectations
Build processes and infrastructure to enable scalable and profitable growth
Set expectations and interface with executive leadership stakeholders on performance against execution goals while establishing and managing service level agreements across departments
Strategize and lead formal client program reviews to ensure alignment with contract expectations
Oversee timely, accurate, and efficient client reporting that delivers return on investment insights and field marketing intelligence
Oversee staff priorities, workload balancing, utilization, and professional development to minimize turnover and support team engagement
Qualifications
Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
Experience Requirements: 10-12 years experience in relevant field (Sales, marketing, or consumer packaged goods experience preferred)
Travel requirement: 35% travel expected
Supervisor Responsibility
Direct Reports: Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Strong sales presentation capabilities

Clear written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of syndicated data
Ability to build confidence and trust with clients and internal teams

Proficiency with spreadsheet and office productivity tools
Bilingual capability in French and English preferred
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
